7 Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered.

* Live with them (understand them by being interested in their lives)
* Don't disrespect them. To treat them with special attention. Show them respect.
* It doesn't say weak but 'weaker'.
* Husbands and Wives should be 1 unit.
* If you are not a good husband God will not answer your prayers.

Jesus is talking to his disciples
16 “A little while, and you will not see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me, because I go to the Father.”
17 Then some of His disciples said among themselves, “What is this that He says to us, ‘A little while, and you will not see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me’; and, ‘because I go to the Father’?” 18 They said therefore, “What is this that He says, ‘A little while’? We do not know what He is saying.”
19 Now Jesus knew that they desired to ask Him, and He said to them, “Are you inquiring among yourselves about what I said, ‘A little while, and you will not see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me’? 20 Most assuredly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy. 21 A woman, when she is in labor, has sorrow because her hour has come; but as soon as she has given birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world. 22 Therefore you now have sorrow; but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you.
23 “And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. 24 Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.

==Lessons==
We won’t see Jesus for a while but then we’ll see him in heaven again. He is warning that his death is going to horrible and they are going to be sad but there will be a time when they will be happy again, like when you have a baby it hurts but then your so pleased that you’ve had a baby that you forgot how much it hurt. When Jesus says ask anything in my name, God will do it but that doesn’t mean that he’ll just answer every prayer, it has to be something Jesus would ask.

Simon Peter, son of Jonas, was a fisherman who lived in Bethsaida and Capernaum. He was one of the main apostles. He is also known for when he denied Jesus three times.

Peter was martyred on a cross. Peter requested that he might be crucified head downward for he was not worthy to die as his Lord had died.
