Lessons[edit]

When it says to have one mind, it means to agree with each other. This only applies to Christian matters. We as Christians should also care about each other; show empathy and sympathy. Love as brother means you should stick together and be there for each other. To be tenderhearted is to be kind. To be courteous is to be polite, respectful, and considerate. In verse nine, not returning evil for evil means even if someone is mean to you you forgive them and do not get revenge on them. When it says 'let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking deceit ', it means to not say mean things and to not lie. You should always look for a peaceful solution instead of going for the non-peaceful option. God always sees and hears when your being a good Christain.
